Silke Unseld

Yoga teacher, hiking guide, herb educator, nature guide, sound treatment facilitator and cranosacral therapist in training,

My spiritual journey started, like most of us, with pain. In 2002 I suffered a dislocated disk and I had to pause my professional snowboard career and rethink my life. The pain brought me to yoga and a life more based on the needs of my body.

I travelled the world, finding happiness again in surfing, nature and especially my daily yoga practise. I started my first yoga teacher training in 2008 and body work became the main part of my spiritual awakening as I practiced therapies like cranosacral therapy, theta healing, breath work, reiki, family constellation, thai massage, sound therapy and shiatsu. All this helped me to heal my childhood trauma and to fully arrive in my body.

I deeply believe our body is keeping the score (Peter Levin) and most of our physical pain is a sign from our body, to take a closer look and heal the root cause. In most cases this is past conditioning or childhood trauma.

So my teaching style and wisdom is based on really learning to feel and love your body exactly as it is with all the amazing shining scars (just one letter different to stars) you are carrying and have survived :)

In my classes I sometimes like to play with sound and vibration to help your body to feel tension and rethink if this protection, built up in the past, is still necessary. I look forward to sharing a learning journey with you, it is always an exchange we can learn from each other.

As a hiking guide it is my pleasure to share our beautiful majestic mountains and show you the most beautiful places to connect with nature and witness all the treasures and wisdom She provides.
